Food Bank
Since its inception in 1974 Mississauga Community and Family services has been a source of help and support for the community.
In 1974 over 200 families made requests at the Temple office. That year Community and Family Services gave furniture to 141 families, food vouchers and parcels to 129 families, counselling of various types to 65 families or individuals. The strength of Mississauga Temple’s Family Services department was already well established.
Forty years on, that strength and desire to assist the local community remains strong. Currently we offer these programs:
Daycare
We are pleased to welcome you and your child to The Salvation Army Mississauga Temple Day Care Centre.
Our Early Childhood Education Centre is committed to meeting the social, emotional, physical and intellectual needs of your child in a Christian atmosphere. Each aspect of development is inter-related.
Every child in our centre is very special and will be given personal attention, by qualified staff, to grow in a happy, healthy and loving environment.
Every parent in our centre is valued. We are here to support you. We know that being a parent is the most wonderful, rewarding yet challenging job you will ever have in your life.
